The lesson the mayor of Jegălia learned when "some guys from Bucharest" came to him.
"Among the young people who made the mayor change his mind about the tree-planting initiative were Ștefăn Brătianu and Oana Toma, both of whom participated, in previous years, in the initiative "We plant good deeds in Romania".
"First of all, I spend a day doing something useful for myself, for other people, for my future and that of my eventual children and our children, for everyone's", Oana motivated her decision to get involved.
"I am friends with those from Fapte Bune and when they asked me for help in finding volunteers, I offered myself with great pleasure", said Ştefan, in turn.
In Ştefan's vision, such afforestation actions should be done at least three or four times a year. Oana, at the same time, claims that she mobilized, very easily, alongside those with whom she came to Jegălia on Saturday.
"It was easy. The people at Ted got in touch with the people at "Plantăm Fapte Bune" and they kept in touch for all aspects and it was very easy for us, we just signed up and that was it", she said.
